All employees who work in LEVNT schools and Early Learning Centres (ELC) are supported to play an integral part in the spirituality, life and practice of the schools or ELC. Induction to and accreditation to work in Lutheran Education is gained through in-house and regional workshops of Connect and Equip.
Our staff is fully supported to engage with this training to foster a stronger connection to their new learning community and to understand the teaching and practice of their school or ELC as an organisation of the Lutheran Church of Australia.
These courses will be undertaken during the first years of employment and further opportunities to explore what it means to work in a Lutheran School or ELC will be provided in the years that follow. It is an expectation that all staff in Lutheran schools and ELCs will become fully accredited and undertake ongoing professional development to maintain accreditation currency.
