Walk My Way Melbourne is quickly approaching- but do not worry, you have not missed your chance to get involved!
Walk My Way is an ALWS initiative, and the very first Melbourne Walk will be held in conjunction with Luther College and LEVNT this October. The walking challenge encourages participants to walk 26 kms – a kilometre for each dollar it costs to send a child to school in East Africa for a year.
Walk My Way Melbourne will start and finish at Luther College on Saturday October 21st, with the aim of raising money to deliver education to children at Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya – including children with disabilities.
Put a team together, or set yourself a challenge! Register now for the 26km or 13km walk at melbourne.walkmyway.org.au!
We are also seeking volunteers to help out on the day. If this sounds like something you’d like to lend a hand with, please get in touch with Taya (LEVNT) by emailing taya@levnt.edu.au, or by phone at (03) 9236 1273. Otherwise, please feel free to check out the following volunteer opportunities, and register here.
Please note all volunteers must sign the ALWS Child Safeguarding Code of Conduct, which can be found here, and uploaded at the time of your registration. Thankyou!
