This year’s Principals’ & Business Managers’ Meeting and Schools’ Assembly was held via zoom. It was tremendous to see such an attendance. 2020 has proved to be a difficult year; however, the collegiality and continued participation of schools through zoom meetings has been instrumental in getting on with the business at hand.
The financial report, budget and governance review were all discussed in detail and feedback from those in attendance was positive and heartening. We congratulate everyone for their continued work and support for their school communities. We particularly commend the volunteers who undertake their roles as School Council Chairs in a professional and empathetic manner, particularly whilst we are navigating through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Several new appointments were noted, and we look forward to their contribution to the region. We also acknowledged those leaving the Region and wish them well in their future endeavours. We look forward to starting 2021 with optimism and faith.
