Louka Parry and Anne Knock from The Learning Future together with research partners are involved in exploring and developing an AI Teaching Assistant for Teachers, Learning Assistants/Coaches etc
They are offering 15 places to Lutheran Education Vic, NSW and Tas Educators to be a part of this exciting initiative.
What will it involve?
Duration: The lab will take place over 6 weeks, from mid-October through to the end of November.
Time commitment:
- 1 hour group laboratory session (online) per week, afternoon time TBC.
- 2 hours exploration and application of AI tools for own lesson planning and design processes (2 lessons overall).
- Capturing learnings throughout the program and sharing.
- 2 hour closing summit for the Design Lab, bringing learnings together in a focused way.
Start Date: We will commence in mid-October (after the start of Term 4).
Cost: We are offering 15 fully funded positions (Will likely be valued at $2000+ per Participant)
Our focus: How might we design and deliver learning experiences for students (and teachers) by deploying AI tools into the learning process and reduce teacher workload and wellbeing at the same time?
