St John’s Lutheran Church Geelong witnessed and supported the installation of Pastor David Spike as the full time Pastor of Formation and Ministry for LEVNT.
Bishop Lester and Pastor James together with Julian Denholm officiated the service.
Bishop Lester’s sermon supported all our spiritual growth, including David’s, in highlighting the theme of being Salt of the Earth and a Shining Light in proclaiming the Gospel.
A wonderful celebration through a morning tea after the service enabled rich fellowship and support for the Geelong community and LEVNT.
May our saviour Lord continue to provide David with strength, love and compassion as he serves Lutheran Education Vic, NSW, Tas.
