Every year the HundrED Academy team from all over the world works through hundreds of innovations that are battling to get named on the exclusive Global Collection released in November. As a member of the Academy team as part of my Country Lead Ambassador role, I personally review 40 innovations looking at them to determine scalability and impact.
The HundrED Summit where the Global Collection will be launched amongst other exciting events will take place next Wednesday through to Friday.
Given the time difference, many of the events will take place while most of us are sleeping. To counter this Derek and I will be rehosting 1 or 2 of the main sessions in the following weeks in the evenings. Look out in the watering hole for details of those events!
Community Conversations with HundrED Country Leads 6.00 pm November 04
Another exciting aspect of the program this year is that the Country Leads from around the world are joining forces to facilitate community conversations about a range of engaging topics that we are passionate about. Derek and I are hosting a conversation with Noburo Hagiwara from Japan. Together we will be talking about how to get the whole school focused on learning. We will create a conversation about agency and what quality learning looks like in 2021, we will explore the skills required for students to flourish and one way to develop those skills through combing PBL with Design Thinking. This event will take place at 6.00 pm on Thursday 04 November.
