Good Shepherd Early Childhood Services in Hamilton is currently seeking highly motivated educators with a passion for educating children, to be employed in the following positions:
Early Childhood Teacher – Maternity leave position (28 weeks)
To be considered you will have a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA Approved), VIT Teacher’s Registration, Current First Aid certificate, Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Pay and conditions in accordance with the VECTEA.
Senior Lead Educator – Full time ongoing
The successful applicant will hold a Diploma in Children’s Services or Higher, Current Working with Children Check, Current First Aid and CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma Management training and Child Protection Training.
Previous experience as a Lead Educator, an ability to take on the role of Person in Day to Day Charge (PIDTDC) and an ability to manage, lead and mentor a small team will be an advantage.
Educators – Casual
The successful applicants must hold a Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, current WWCC, first aid qualification and have proven knowledge and experience in providing a play- based program implementing the Early Years Learning Frameworks.
General:
An ability to support the Lutheran Church ethos within the workplace will be required.
