Lakeside College Board wishes to appoint a Principal who is an innovative and energetic educator, who can provide inspiring leadership to the entire school community and will commit to providing strong educational leadership to the staff and students. In addition, we seek an educator with a strong heart for mission who will provide sound spiritual leadership of the community.
Lakeside Lutheran College is a Lutheran school and offers a Lutheran education to all, regardless of background. The College recognises that each person is uniquely positioned to be a blessing in the lives of others, and that leaders have particular influence over those that they are entrusted to lead. The Principal plays a critical role in the educational and spiritual leadership of the College, including by modelling and promoting a life lived in accordance with the School’s Lutheran faith, in word and action. The successful candidate will ideally be an active communicant member of a congregation of the Lutheran Church of Australia and have (or will attain) accreditation from Lutheran Education Australia (please see Principal Prospectus for further details).
The appointment will commence in term 3 2023, or by negotiation.
