Good Shepherd Early Childhood Services is a 107-place early childhood service in Hamilton, Victoria. The service offers quality education and care for children from 6 weeks of age to 6 years, including funded kindergarten programs for 2 years before school.
Good Shepherd Early Childhood Services are currently seeking applicants for the following positions:
Early Childhood Educator (Diploma) Permanent Ongoing Full-Time and Part-Time Hours Available
Responsibilities:
· Plan and deliver a high-quality early childhood curriculum, using the relevant curriculum framework, maintaining all documentation required to support children’s learning and development.
· Ensures the Service is compliant with all relevant legislation.
· Performs all responsibilities in an ethical and transparent manner incorporating moral principles of honesty and trust and declaring any conflicts of interest that may arise.
· Building meaningful relationships with children and families.
· Working collaboratively within a team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
· Supporting the Christian ethos of the Service.
To be successful in this role, you will need
· Diploma in Children's Services or be studying towards.
· Current Working with Children Check.
· Current First Aid and CPR.
· Previous childcare experience.
· Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and the National Framework.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to positively and proactively engage with staff, children and families.
· A professional and enthusiastic attitude.
· Previous childcare experience is an advantage

Early Childhood Cook - Permanent Part Time – 10 hours per week (2 days)
The successful applicant will be highly motivated, with a passion for preparing high quality food for children. They should have the ability to work independently, implement the service’s Food Safety Plan and hold or be willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate and current WWCC. Previous experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
