What to Expect: Over the course of five days, you will visit a curated selection of schools around Auckland, known for their innovative approaches to education. Schools like Stonefields School, Te Ao Marama, Mata Nui, Roto Tono, Albany Senior, The Age School, and Hobsonville Point Secondary are on our tentative itinerary, each offering unique insights into the application of contemporary educational practices.
Draft Itinerary Overview:
- Day 0 (Sep 15): Arrivals and informal welcome dinner.
- Day 1 (Sep 16): Morning session at School #1, followed by lunch and an afternoon session at School #2. Evening concludes with an informal dinner.
- Day 2 (Sep 17): Morning visit to School #3, lunch, then an afternoon session at School #4. The day ends with an official tour dinner.
- Day 3 (Sep 18): Full morning session at School #5, lunch, and afternoon reflection sessions.
- Day 4 (Sep 19): Visit to School #6, followed by lunch and afternoon reflections.
- Day 5 (Sep 20): Final school visit at School #7, lunch, and concluding reflections before departing for the airport.
Tour Details:
- Cost: Approximately $2300-$2800 per person, inclusive of accommodation (with breakfast), school visit fees, and transfers.
- Note: Flights are not included and should be arranged by your school.
