Derek (LEQ) and I have been approached by Stephen Heppell (www.heppell.net) to collaborate in creating possible hybrid/mixed-mode/flexible schooling opportunities, both here in Australia, and around the world. Prof. Stephen Heppell was supposed to work with several of our schools this year, but with COVID looming in early March he will only be going to Eastside Lutheran College in Hobart and that project has now been put on hold.
We are excited and honoured that Prof. Heppell wants to include us in this new venture as he has only approached Lutheran Education, Paramatta Catholic Education Diocese and SEK International Schools.
He is looking to prototype and begin a new mode of schooling in a few locations across the world that allows for mixed mode delivery in an ongoing way to cater for flexible physical attendance.
Discussions are in early stages, we have only had a couple of meetings so far, but if you think that you would be interested in exploring what this could mean then please get in touch, we would love to have you join the dialogue.
